Before 2020, P4A was in December, so grants were typically distributed the year after the revenue came in. Values represent the year when the transactions happened, not necessarily the P4A they correspond to.

Plots might have weird spikes if there are multiple videos. Some of the early data was collected poorly, so data points that were supposed to have the same timestamp had slightly different timestamps. There are some other videos that the YouTube API reported as having views that went up and down. This happens more often with accounts that only have a few videos, because their views get audited.
